If you are the kind of person who likes the noisier surroundings of the average Hotel or Motel then I doubt you will understand or enjoy this location. Comfortable, clean and well supplied with everything needed. Upon arriving I was greeted by one of the owners with the key and WiFi details and was left to enjoy the vacation. I don't know what the issue is with the negative reviews here but I just spent nine nights here in the Sweet Sedona Studio and had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing time. We called the “owner/manager” to voice our displeasure, that call has been ignored. In my vivid imagination I remember the shower scene from “PSYCO.” We asked for a “partial” refund and were ignored. The washroom area had a door to the other side of the house, remember the room had been a garage. It was very cold in the “room” but Will showed us where the portable electric heater was located. The phone call went to voicemail, I then texted the o/m and “Will” came to the door to let us into our room. No one answered the door! The phone number on the door apparently is for the owner/manager and is located in Torrance CA. I said I would arrive at 4PM but did not arrive until 4:35 PM. You must check in at 4PM or 10PM, apparently those hours are when the “attendant” is available. Parking is tight and barely off the street. We spent two minutes in the “room” and walked out! Harmony house is a ripoff! It is in a poor neighborhood and has a manufactured home across the street that looked more appealing. If you can get along with housemates and don’t mind sharing kitchen and bathroom, then it’s ok.… If you’re looking for an actual hotel, look elsewhere. Overall, not what we were expecting, but it wasn’t bad. One of the house rules you must respect is taking off your shoes before entering the home. Really fits into the Eastern-Indian theme of Sedona. The carport-converted-into-room looked like a meditation room. There is a lot of Eastern religious imagery and culture. This was listed in the House Rules in the photos I added. The kitchen can be used to prepare vegetarian foods only. There is internet access, so you aren’t completely cut off from the world. In fact, it was rather peaceful without it. For us, this made no difference since we do not watch TV. Each room has a coded door lock for each tenant. We liked the colorful theme of the Mantra room. ![]() The host (I assumed he was the owner or live-in friend of the owner) kept the place clean. ![]() It was a shared house between 2 boarders and the host, including the bathroom. Short review: 3 bedroom house, not hotel, no TVs, vegetarian only, must remove shoes before entering Long review: We found this place through a third party website advertising as a hotel.
